164 yards / 150 m per spool · Black, Blue or Pink · Choose by LB Test and Diameter
Tight weave. Smooth casts.
We pack eight strands into a tight, round braid, then add a nano coating to reduce friction through your guides.
Less drag on the line. Built to help you cast smoothly and reach farther.
Good line starts with good fiber.
We start with UHMWPE fiber imported from Japan—a strong, lightweight foundation for a slim braid.
Choose the strength you need without overlooking the diameter that fits your reel.
Made for more than a smooth first cast.
The dense weave and protective coating help resist abrasion through everyday use.
Fish around cover? Check for wear and retie when needed. Tough line still deserves a quick check.
Keep the color you picked.
Plant-derived, water-based dye meets a protective nano coating to help resist fading from sun and use.
Pink, Blue or Black—color worth keeping.
Made for anglers who notice the difference. From a quiet morning on the bank to a full tournament day, the goal is the same: dependable handling you can get familiar with, cast after cast.
Black, Blue or Pink: which should you choose?
Choose the line you can manage—not a promise of invisibility. At the same size, all three colors share the same construction and listed strength. Contrast changes with glare, sky, water and background; no color is best everywhere.
Pink — for anglers who watch the line
A useful starting choice if you want a bright main line to follow during finesse presentations, on the drop or while taking up slack. Check how it contrasts on your home water. Pair with an appropriate leader when presentation calls for one.
Blue — a distinct look for your everyday setup
Choose Blue if you find it easy to track or want to identify one rig quickly among several rods. Blue can blend into some sky and water backgrounds, so judge visibility in your own conditions—not by the color name.
Black — for a subdued main-line look
A good fit if you prefer a dark line, including straight-braid setups around vegetation. It can be harder to follow against dark backgrounds. Black is not invisible underwater; use a leader when your presentation benefits from one.
Still deciding? Start with Pink if line watching is your priority, Black if you prefer a subdued look, or Blue if it gives you useful contrast on your water. Choose strength for the cover and technique first.
Choose strength for the way you fish.
These are starting points for common bass setups, not universal ratings. Follow your rod and reel limits and account for lure weight, cover, leader, knots and drag.
- Spinning and finesse: 13–19.8 lb. Consider the lighter options for small presentations and manageable diameter, often with a suitable leader.
- Versatile casting: 28–39.9 lb. A starting range for many general-purpose braid setups. Increase diameter where cover, spool behavior or your technique calls for it.
- Frogs and dense vegetation: 50–61.9 lb. A heavier starting range for pulling fish out of thick cover on suitably rated tackle.
For rocky or shell-covered areas, do not rely on a higher lb rating alone. Think about contact abrasion, leader choice and frequent checks. For larger fish, size the whole setup around the species and conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What pound test do I need for my fishing?
A starting guide: 13–19.8 lb for bass finesse on spinning gear · 28–39.9 lb for many inshore setups · 50 lb+ for heavy cover and larger fish. Match your choice to your rod, reel, lure and cover. Big-game fishing needs a species-specific setup—not just heavier line.
2. Does the color fade? Will it bleed onto my hands?
Water-dyed + nano-coated to help keep the color you picked. The protective finish helps resist fading from sun and use. Fade-resistant does not mean fade-proof, and we do not guarantee zero dye transfer under every condition.
3. Is 8-strand better than 4-strand?
For smooth handling, 8-strand is a great choice. PEX8 combines a tight, round eight-strand weave with nano coating to reduce guide friction and support smooth, long casts. Strand count alone does not determine strength or abrasion resistance.
4. Do I need a leader with braid?
For clear water or wary fish, consider a fluorocarbon leader with any color. Pink is a bright option for watching your line; Black and Blue offer different looks, not underwater invisibility. Straight braid can work well for frogs and heavy vegetation.
5. Can I use it in saltwater?
Yes—PEX8 is suitable for freshwater and saltwater. Its nano finish supports smooth handling and abrasion resistance. Rinse with fresh water after saltwater use, and check your line and knots before the next trip.
6. Where does my order ship from and delivery time?
This Pro Grade series stocked in California fulfillment which is available ship from California. Availability depends on your chosen color and size. Delivery time is around 3-5 days.
7. Does it stretch? How sensitive is it?
Low stretch keeps you connected to your lure. PEX8 helps transmit taps and changes in tension with less stretch than nylon mono. Keep slack under control to make the most of that direct feel. Feel the bite.
8. Is it abrasion resistant around rocks, docks and weeds?
The dense weave and nano coating help resist everyday abrasion. Sharp rocks, shells and dock edges can still damage braid. Check the working end after contact, cut back worn sections and retie when needed.
9. Will it get wind knots, dig into the spool or have memory?
Low memory and a tight, round 38-pick weave support manageable line lay. No braid is tangle-proof. Spool under firm, even tension, avoid overfilling and retrieve without loose loops. These habits help reduce wind knots and line digging.
10. What knot should I use?
Palomar for braid-to-hook; FG for braid-to-leader. Follow each knot’s tying steps, moisten before final tightening where instructed, and seat it carefully. Pull-test every connection before fishing—good knots help you get the most from your line.
Try one spool. Get to know the difference.
Start with the setup you fish most. Choose your color and strength above, then add one spool to your cart. Pay attention to the line’s surface, how it lays on the spool and how it moves through your guides.

The line is super smooth and holds a knot very well for braid. The color and strength seems to hold longer than other brands as well. I'm very pleased with this line!
